A Little About Us

If there is one word that describes Mercy’s Reign, it would be dedication. Each member of this Southern Gospel singing group is dedicated in spreading of Gospel, dedicated in their promotion of the music they sing, and dedicated to the encouragement of others through both the Word and through their music. 

Organized as a trio in the summer of 2011, the group is in its beginning stages of spreading love and blessings through the music they sing. Even though the group is still young their wonderful harmonies, great songs and sheer joy of singing is infectious! There is an obvious light that shines through onstage, and an energy that carries them through the night when they perform. Tim, from Parkersburg, West Virginia actually started the group, which is based in Willie’s home town of Gallipolis, Ohio. Tim, having sung in other groups, was preaching at a local church part-time when he felt the call back into music. God opened doors which led to Willie’s arrival in the group, which led to Matt’s (from Dixon, Kentucky) arrival. Before the young group even had a chance to practice they were scheduled to sing in Canton, Ohio. Even though their first set was only a few songs (that also included a mid-set power outage while on stage) the presence of the Holy Spirit was evident. 

One of the many things that display Tim, Matt and Willie’s dedication to the Lord is their home locations. Tim and Willie live about an hour away from each other if the traffic is good. Tim and Matt live seven hours away from each other no matter if traffic is good or bad! While most groups deal with group members being spread over a few miles locally, Mercy’s Reign is dealing with a ton of miles and three different states. Through Emails, phone calls and prayer, the three long distance travelers make God’s calling work. 

Mercy’s Reign is a full time group willing to travel all over North America. They also offer something unique in addition to their great music as both Matt and Tim have been called to preach and Willie is a well known youth and prison evangelist. Not only can this dedicated group of men sing the praises of God’s Word, they can deliver His Word as well. In addition to booking singing engagements the men are also available for select revival, camp meeting, and weekend retreat dates.  

The harmonies, the songs and the love of the message. Fans can feel it emanate from the stage as the group breaks into song, because nothing can take the place of dedication when it comes to delivering the Gospel to the people.
